Clinics and Other Facilities
The practice offers the following services: Antenatal, Asthma, Diabetic, Family Planning, Travel Clinics, Phlebotomy, Spirometery, ECG Recording, 24 hour Blood Pressure monitoring, Anticoagulation, Physiotherapy and Minor Surgery facilities. Appointments for all of these can be made at reception.
Immunisations
All children should be immunised against infectious diseases. Children will be sent appointments to attend the surgery at the appropriate age. Should the appointment be inconvenient please contact the surgery. If you do not want your child immunised, please make an appointment to discuss this with the Practice Nurse. Your written consent will be needed to remove your child’s name from the Health Authority's recall list.
Influenza clinics are held in early autumn and the vaccine is available to all patients over 65 and those at risk, Diabetics, Asthmatics, COPD and Heart Problems.
Pneumococcal Vaccines are offered to all patients over 65. This vaccine is only necessary once in a lifetime.
Cervical Screening
This is an important preventative test, screening women between the ages of 24 and 64 for the early detection of cervical cancer. Cervical smears should be performed every 3 years up to the age of 49 and every 5 years up to the age of 64. Women will be called routinely for screening by Primary Care Services England.

The Health Visiting Team are now based in Ashford and hold clinics at various locations, please contact them on 01233 649007 for details. They also have a help and advice line available from 09.30 – 11.30 weekdays, 01233 649004.
